Coming up on the 25th, Alliston Junior Roller Derby will be making a trip down the 400 to come play us at the ToRD Season 8 kickoff!
The last time our two teams faced off it was an amazing bout that kept the crowd on the edge of their seats!

This coming Saturday, November 16th between 1 and 4 pm, we will be hosting our first Bizarre Bazaar; a fundraiser that will help us travel to play bouts, assist with other league related costs, and help us host some exciting events in 2014! The Bizarre Bazaar will be held at the Mattamy Athletic Centre at Maple Leaf Gardens, 50 Carlton St, and will have tea and refreshments, a silent auction, a bake sale, and a craft sale with all funds going directly to the TJRD. We hope to see you all there!
October 11th is International Day of the Girl.
TJRD would like to thank all of those in the world that work every day to make the lives of girls everywhere better.
We would also like to remind all of the girls out there with a voice to use it! Use the voice you have to help those in the world that can’t use theirs. It’s that voice that will make the future better for everyone!
Happy Day of the Girl!
This is a video made during a friendly scrimmage this past weekend when some of our great friends of Montreal’s Rhythm & Bruise dropped in on our practice on their way home from Alliston. We had a great time seeing our friends and we look forward to seeing these very talented skaters again soon!
Merci beaucoup Montreal Rhythm & Bruise!

What an incredible bout! This bout (much like our recent bout in Montreal) was spectacular and came down to the very last jam, with the TJRD squeaking in some last minute points to win 199-193. What an amazing way for several of our newer skaters (and some of Alliston’s skaters who also made their bout debuts) to start bouting! Congratulations to Shatterproof of the AJRD and Iggy Pop-her; tonight’s very deserving MVPs.
The TJRD would like to thank our hosts the Alliston Junior Roller Derby, the Renegade Derby Dames of Alliston, the zebra crew and their NSOs, the announcers and all of the volunteers that were there to make this another amazing bout! We can’t wait to see our friends from Alliston again!
Today is the day! The TJRD is heading up the road to Alliston Memorial Arena at 49 Nelson St W to take on our friends at Alliston Junior Roller Derby, the Blister Sisters!
Everyone is welcome to make the quick drive up the highway to Alliston to come see this bout, featuring some of TJRD’s newer skaters showing off their skill on the flat track! Tickets are $15 at the door.
